"Interesting.." Ambrose said picking up the journal. He started flipping through the pages, the more he read, the more familiar things got. It was as if they thought the same thoughts. He looked over the book at her and just stared, it wasn't a bad, I think your a crazy psycho stare, it was a stare of understanding and shock.

Ellette took the journal and slid it back into her bag. She looked diwn, blushing. "I've been writing the dreams down for years..." She looked up into his eyes and saw the understanding in his eyes. "I thought they were just dreams, but then I began to fell things. And then there are my attacks..."

"Attacks? You feel attacks? What happens" Ambrose's gaze turned from understanding to worry, he couldn't possibly have the only other person who understands him get injured. Was that the only reason why he cared? Because she understood? No he also saw her as a friend, a future good friend. What if they found this other world? That would be one heck of an adventure.

"They aren't physical attacks. More... mental." She glanced out the windiw. "I see things, terrible things. Battles, murders, fires..." She shook her head and looked back at him, fear in her eyes. "Each one gives me this horrible pain that leaves me curled into this ball."

"Oh...Thats horrible..I wish I could help.." Ambrose said sincerely. He looked down, he didn't know what to say, he never felt anything like that, not even close. He pulled a Napkin towards him with one hand and with the other he picked a pen by the nearby desk. He wrote his name and phone number on the napkin and scooted it towards her. "If you ever need help...or if you just whana talk call me. I might be able to help with the dreams, if magic caused them.. Magic can fix them."

Ellette slipped the napkin into her pocket. she grabbed another one and wrote down her name and her number and passed it over to him. "In case You want or need to talk." She lightly blushed. "Thank you. For understanding." She looked down shyly. "I have told no one else about any of this." She blushed a little brighter. "For some reason... I trust you. And I barely even know you..."

Ambrose smiled and put the napkin in his jacket pocket. "Awesome." He said grinning. "No problem, I should be thanking you for understanding." Ambrose said looking into her eyes, he knew she truly did believe, that he wasn't just lying for her amusement. "I trust you as well, then again you may no someone for ten years and not trust them... I guess trust really isn't measured in time." Ambrose really wanted to comment on how cute she looked when she blushed, but he was a shy guy, and so kept debating it in his head.

Ellette's smile grew. "Such true words..." She remembered her drink and took a drink. Ellette slid it across the table towards him. "I always order a large, yet I can never finish it. Have it." She chuckled. "So. Tell me. What should I really know about you." She set her elbows on the table and rested her head on both palms.

Ambrose smiled and took a drink. "Thanks." He said grinning. "Well that all matters on what you want to know, you ask it, I'll answer it." Ambrose subcontiously began to tap a beat on the table with the pen he was holding. "What should I know about you?" He asked.

"Well. I am a junior at the high school. I've lived here all my life, but I've traveled around a lot." She looked downwards. "I never really liked the traveling, most of the time I spent it alone in a hotel room. I was allowed to order room service, but the people who deliver it have to leave, so it was really lonely." She sighed. "And about you? I want to know anything?"

"Um... What kinds of things do you like to do, like in spare time?" she asked. Ellette smiled. "Me, I write, if you couldn't have guessed. That, and there's the search for a job. I had one before, I filed books at the library, but.. .one day I had one of my attacks, hit my head, and they fired me. They said I was too much of a liability, or something like that." She looked down.

"Oh..What a shame." Ambrose said. "Well I like to make things...like..you could give me a stick and a rock and I'd find hundreds of ways to use them. I just like inventing things, Oh and drawing, and Reading, but I like creating and inventing more."

Ellette laughed. She smiled at him. "What kinds of things have you invented?" Ellette was intrigued.

"Well mostly stupid things, like a machine that will shut and lock my door, another that will carry water bottles to a particular chair." He then looked at her for a few seconds. Ambrose looked into her eyes wondering if he should tell her or not. He looked down. "And...I have.." He looked up slowly. "Don't tell anyone... I trust you with this. I believe there is a portal to the other world.. The one we both believe in. I'm working on restoring that portal." Even though she believed in magic, part of him was still afraid to tell her.
