Ellette held Ambroses hand tightly. They stood in front of the portal to the Otherworld, and she was terrified. what if it reall had all been dreams. Her imagination. What if she really was crazy? What if... She had to stop thinking in what if's. She looked over at Ambrose, and saw him giving her that encouraging smile. She took a deep breath. "Here we go." And then she stepped into the portal with him. A bright light surrounded her as soon as she stepped through. and when it was gone: her clothes had been changed, and she resembeled the girl from all her visions. A large silver crown rested on her head and she hugged Ambrose tightly. "It's real! It's really real!"

Ambrose smiled at her before he entered the portal himself. WHen he arrived in the other world, his hair was pure black, and his eyes a crimson color. He didn't notice the changes on himself, but noticed the ones on Ellette. He smiled and hugged her tightly. "It is.."

Ellette pulled away. She looked around the forest in wonder. "It's all... so beautiful. And just how I saw it." She looked back at him, an expression of pure joy on her face. She took a few steps forward, and thena rush of air surrounded her, it spun her gently, and she could smell flowers. Ellette closed her eyes. She could feel the magic, coarsing through the land, herself, and Ambrose. The air set her dowqn and she laughed and turned to face Ambrose. Ellette held her hands out for him "Shall we, my-" And her eyes widened as she realized the sling was gone from her arm, and her arm was no longer broken.

Ellette hugged him back tightly. She could feel the conncection between them. She could feel his love for her. Ellette pulled away slightly. "The possibilities this place has... There was the war, and it DID destroy things. but some things remain..." Then swhe felt the pull. Something was pulling at her, telling her to go in a certain direction. she took Ambroses hand. "Folllow me, love." She smiled.

Ellette cmiled and kissed his cheek gently. She led him quietly thorough the forest. Ellette observed the forest as they walked, the ways the trees seemed to be alive. the voice of the wind. The quick passing of small creatures. She could taste the magic in the air with every breath that she took. There were small flowers along the sides of the path, just blooming. They reached the end of the trail and Ellette stopped. In front of them stood a large fortress. The fortress of the High Elven Castle. She could feel the thoughts of a elven guard up on it's walls. And she could feel his surprise when he looked down and saw them. She required no introduction, they knew her immedietly. Noises sounded from inside the walls, and shouts of joy were heard as word got around. The doors slowly opened and Ellette stepped forward. When they opened, a large group of elves stood there, eyes wide, and hope radiating off of them. She simply nodded to them and they surrounded her with crys of the joy.

ooc: Remember: Keyi almost destroyed anything, if there is going to be such a large group of a species left, I suggest having a backup story...or..well Nevermind x3 Elves lived in the human world before Keyi came around. Ignore me.
Ambrose just followed and looked around at all the elves, he wondered to himself if there was any serpents left. Probably not they were right in the middle of the attack.

Ellette was even surprised. "How did this many manage to survive?" She asked quietly. A man stepped forward. "Many of us lived in the human realm before, but when the portal was closed to us, we realized the wonder we had given up. So when it reopened: we all came here. I am afraid that all the elves that lived here before the war.... they were either all destroyed or fled the land." He looked down sadly. Then Ellette got it. She looked at Ambrose, sadness clear in her eyes. "My parents..."

A silent tear slid down Ellette's cheek. All those dream about the wonderful parents. The ones who would care for her, love her, be there... She turned and looked back at her people, gathered around. Not all were Elves, this she quietly observed. The man quietly spoke up. "There is still a distinct possibility that your parents are alive, your higness." But in her heart, Ellette knew they were dead.

She had expected that when she came here, she would find the home she always dreamed of having. But there was no need to cry over something she never had. She rested her head on his cheast for a minute, then turned to her people.

Ellette sighed as she and Ambrose walked to her mothers castle, the castle for the spirt elves. It was barely standing, but she knew it could be rebuilt quickly. She had been silent ever since she had told him she would explain her reason for handing over the crown. They reached the doors, and Ellette pushed them open. she walked to a bench, next to a single tree and sat down, patting the seat next to her.
