Darrin tapped his chin, thinking. "What were you thinking about when you drew it?" He asked, trying to help her come up with a title.

"Snakes and art and trees and the forest and magic," Lilly listed off all of the things that she thought of as she drew the picture.

"Hm... How about: Serpent Sorcery." He looked over at stared at the drawing. "When I look at it, it's almost as if the snake is making the sun set, you know? Like it is commanding nature." He chuckled. Or it could just be me being crazy."

Lillian laughed, "You may be crazy but that's a good name She wrote what he suggested on the piece of paper and gave it to him. "Thanks again."

Darrin tapped the paper above the picture. He turned to her. "You are very welcome. It's my job to help you." He smiled and sat down next to her. "I remember when the administrators approached me, right after I graduated. I had complained and complained all throughout my high school years that there was no art class. so they came up to me, and offered me the position." He chuckled. "I almost refused. But they kept on me, saying that I should give high school students a chance to take what I couldn't. Once they said that: I was sold."

Lillian thought about it she couldn't live her life without art she loved it way to much and it was a part of every day life how could schools not offer it? "Thanks for taking the job," Lilly said.

Darrin nodded. "It is my pleasure. He leaned back in the chair. "I actually am enjoying it. It gives me a chance to be the kind of teacher I always wanted to have." He chuckled. "Plus, I get to use the teachers lounge, I get paid, and I have access to all the art supplies I could ask for!"

Leah smiled at her picture. "Um..Darrin?" SHe said softly. "I"m Finished." Even if she didn't admit it or not, Leah was starting to feel somewhat jealous ever LIllian. She looked back at her picture, a muscular, beautiful Caracal being sheilded by arrows, from an angel. The angels winds were bleeding from the hits from the arrows, but the Caracal was unharmed, it was looking back up at the angel, and the too were staring each other in the eyes. The background was of a roof, and a nights sky.

Darrin stood and walked over to Leah. He took a long time staring at the drawing. It was... spectacular. He could find no faults in it. His eyes were drawn to the look that passed between the Caracal and the angel. In the Caracals eyes were love and a deep set worry. In the angels eyes the same love was reflected, but so was determination. He turned to Leah. "It's..." He shook his head. "How do I critique something that needs no critique..." He stared at the drawing. "It's quite moving." He smiled down at Leah. "Amazing job. How about once it's dry, we hang it on the wall?"

"Really?" Leah blushed faintly. "Thanks." She smiled, she knew what the painting represented. But she could never possible tell him what it did. No.. He was a teacher now, she'd just have to get over it. She prevented herself from sighing outloud and so instead sighed in her mind. She looked up at him and gave him a bright smile. "Thanks again."

Darrin shrugged. "It is no problem Leah. It's my job to praise my students work." He walked over to his desk and picked up his sketch pad. Darrin sat down next to Lilly at the desk, then turned to Leah. "Come over here Leah. I would like to show you guys some of MY work." He smiled. "Maybe you guys can give me some critique." He flipped it open to the first page, which was of a girl and a guy sitting in a graveyard, a bird was flying by in the distance.

"I like, maybe more color. Everything in the graveyard is so...dark.. The little color in there looks weird, maybe either choose more subtle colors or add more colors." Leah said looking at it smiling.

Darrin nodded. "How about the next one?" He turned the page and there was a drawing of a beautiful girl with blonde hair. Her eyes were closed and a smile graced her lips. A pair of black wings were spread out behind her. In her hands was clutched a small red rose. In the background, you could barely see a shape, of a man watching her.

"It looks like you want the man in the back to remain a mystery so just shade it over a little bit more make him appear kind of blurry," Lilly exaplined to her teacher as she got up to look at his art.

Darrin picked up his pencil and shaded the man in just a little bit more. "Like that?" He asked. Darrin smiled.
