Ellette walked up the driveway up to her house. She glanced over at Ambrose, watching his reaction to the outside. She reached the door and pulled out her key and quickly unlocked it. Ellette held the door open. "Hell, sweet hell." She smiled at him. Once he was in, she closed and locked the door behind her. Habit. "Kitchen is this way..." She took the bags from one of his hands and held it. Ellette led him through the long hallway, filled with pictures of her parents... not one of their child.
She reached the kitchen and released his hand. Ellette set the bags on the counter. "Welcome to my domain..." She blushed.

"Wow.." He said staring at the house, but Ambrose soon forgot that when they were inside. His mind changed over to how beautiful it was, but his mind once was distracted once more when she took his hand, then he was thinking how beautiful she was. He didn't want her to let go..but she did. "Awesome." Ambrose said looking around.

Ellette chuckled. "Yeah. This is one of my favorite rooms to be in. She walked over to him and leaned up, kissing him softly. "And you being in it just makes it all the more better." She took the bags that were in his hands and set them on the counter next to the others. Ellette took everything out of them and lined them up on the counter. She walked over and opened a large cabinet. It contained any spice or seasoning imaginable. Ellette surveyed the bottles before grabbing six different ones, and kicking the door shut. She carried them to the counter and set them down with the other supplies. Ellette opened a drawer and pulled out a hair tie. She smiled at Ambrose. "I told you. This is my domain." she knew where everything was in this kitchen. Ellette reached behind a door and pulled out two aprons. She slid one on and tossed the other one to him. "Can't have you getting all messy." But her eyes said another thing.

Ambrose couldn't help but smile, he watched her as she gathered everything that was needed. "I believe you." He said, this truly was her domain. He caught the apron and nodded, 'Hey, I'll wear anything you want me to." He said with a wink. Ambrose slipped the apron and and walked over to her kissing her forehead softly.

Ellette blushed. She hugged him for a minute then went to her food. She couldn't waste time. Ellette reached under the counter and pulled out a large pan and set it on the stove top. she turned the burner on medium. She turned to the counter, surveying her ingredients. "Ah!" She went to the fridge and pulled out a small Tupperware container. It had chopped onions in it. she smiled at Ambrose. "Luckily I had these left over or you'd be shedding some tears."

Ambrose laughed. "Hmm well I think the only way you'd ever get me to cry is if... You left." He said gently, walking over to the pan. "So boss, what shall I do to help you prepare this magnificent dish?" He asked.

Ellette blushed. she pulled another pan out and the olive oil next to it. Ellette set the pan on the stove top on another burner, turned it on high and poured some oil in. "Saute the onions please!" she smiled and leaned up and kissed his cheek, then handed him a spoon. Ellette opened the tomato sauce and started pouring it into the pot. Once it was all in, she started stirring it. She'd add the spices and seasoning once the onions were in.

Ambrose wasn't the most amazing cook, but he wasn't the worst! He followed her directions and smiled. "I never really enjoyed cooking in my life... But I think I can get used to it, as long as I'm sharing a kitchen with you." He said.

Ellette blushed once more. "Thanks..." She looked down at his onions. "Mmm... time to put them in, just pour the entire pan straight into the sauce." She smiled and stood back. Sometimes it could splatter... and that tended to hurt.

"Spices and Seasoning. And the noodles get boiled." She took the pan from him and set it in the dishwasher. she then pulled out a large pot and filled it halfway with hot water. Ellete placed it on the stove top and turned it on high. She quickly opened the packages of noodles and placed them in the pot. "Stir every few minutes, and when it starts boiling, go over and strain it in the sink. The strainer in in the cabinet next to the dishwasher."

"Will do!" He said saluting her. He then stirred the noodles until they started to boil. He then strained them as she instructed. "Noodles have been successfully strained, boss." He said kissing her cheek.

Ellette smiled. "There's aluminum foil in that drawer over there. Carefully lay each noodle out on it. I'm gonna season the sauce, So I'm probably going to need you to taste it in a minute or so." Ellette began to sprinkle a little bit of this and a little bit of that of the seasonings, stirring carefully every once in a while. she added just a sprinkle of salt and scooped a little of the sauce into the spoon. She held it out for Ambrose. "Taste?"

By the time Ambrose was finished laying all the noodles out, he finally got to taste something. He tasted it and smiled. "Delicious!" He said grinning. "You're an amazing cook."

Ellette blushed. "Thank you. I watched a lot of cooking shows when I was younger and just did what they did. When I was twelve I experimented with this lasagna recipe, and my dad has been in love with it ever since. I also make a pretty awesome Homemade Macaroni and cheese." She took the sauce off the stove and set it on the counter. Good thing for granite! Ellette pulled out a large stoneware dish and set it on the counter as well. She placed noodles all along the bottom of the pan, then ladeled some sauce over it. She sprikled some of the cheese from one of the bags in. Ellette did this, many more times, alternating the cheeses until she reached the top layer where she just jumped what was left of the four cheese onto it. She Carried it over to the oven and put it in. Ellette carried everything to the dishwasher put it in, put in some soap, closed it, and turned it on. she walked over to Ambrose and leaned up on her tip toes and kissed him. "It should bake for about four hours. And the garlic bread is going to go in when the lasagna comes out."
